The McBusted frontman and his wife chose to announce the news in typical fun fashion, sharing an adorable homemade video on the musician's YouTube account.

The 30-year-old star is already a dad to one-year-old son Buzz and the pair can't wait to make their family a little bigger.

In the video the singer can be climbing into his attic at home and bringing down a dusty old Sega Mega Drive.

Setting up the games console with his wife Giovanna by his side, Tom logs in baby Buzz as 'Player One’.

The TV screen lights up with the adorable little boy's image above the words, 'Player One, ready’.

The screen then shows the words, 'Player Two, loading', alongside a question mark, before zooming in on Giovanna's stomach and a picture of the new baby's ultrasound. 

The star named the video 'Player 2' and captioned it, 'Loading… 

This was not the first time the star made a pregnancy related video, he previously recorded a time lapse video of the first pregnecy charting the progress.
