Ed enjoyed a lovely break in Dublin staying at the totally refurbished Grafton Hotel. A modern, art deco stylish hotel located just off Grafton Street in Dublin 2, one of the coolest places to stay in Dublin due to its proximity to all the major attractions in Dublin city. Nestled amidst the energy of Dublin's creative quarter which offers a hub of design creativity and innovation and is within walking distance to the Georgian, Medieval, and Financial quarters. A great location if visiting Dublin for business or pleasure and listed by the Irish Independent as one of Ireland's FAB 50 Irelands Best Places to Stay.

I really loved my stay here and Barry and his team are great ambassadors for good Irish hospitality and service. We enjoyed some wonderful cocktails and an excellent lunch in Bartley's. The rooms are elegant and stylishly appointed and the breakfast was excellent.

During my stay I enjoyed a wonderful exhibition on Ulysses in MOLI which was just 15 minutes walk from the hotel. I had some delicious light fare in Chequer Lane and managed to squeeze in the stunning Turner Exhibition at the National Gallery. I am a big fan of the local break which was a necessity during Covid but has now become a most enjoyable guilty pleasure.
