Ireland's Longest Greenway and Kinsale's Gourmet Horseboxes

10 minutes | Saturday, 10 April 2021

Today on Travel Talk we look at the launch of Ireland's longest Greenway - The Royal Canal Greenway taking in 4 counties with over 130km of level towpaths. We gallop along with an exciting new initiative from Jonathan Wallace in Kinsale - The Nags Head - Serving Fine Fodder and Coffee in his converted Rice Horsebox - “The inspiration for The Nag’s Head primarily came from the huge upset to hospitality and tourism last year during the pandemic, with a rising demand for top quality casual al-fresco dining, particularly following outdoor pursuits like walking, cycling, running or sea swimming in Kinsale and throughout Cork. I see this as an opportunity to work for myself and serve tasty toasted sandwiches in a safe, outdoor location with a friendly smile,” said Jonathan.
