Malta Competition Terms & Conditions - 2024

Flight and Hotel Terms & Conditions

1. This prize is open to the winner of Sunshine 106.8 prize draw which will occur on the week commencing 26^th Feb via the Breakfast Show. The winner must be 18 years or over and live in the UK or Ireland
    
2. Applicants for the competition will only be counted when entered into the Sunshine 106.8's entry mechanism
    
3. Visit Malta will support and provide one prize, consisting of two return tickets in economy from Ireland to Malta for a value up to €350.00 per return ticket including taxes, baggage allowance and other costs plus up to four nights’ accommodation for two pax in Malta at a 4* hotel with breakfast.
    
4. The flights are subject to availability. A six-week booking notice in advance is required.
    
5. The prize must be redeemed and used by 31^st December 2024
    
6. Maximum baggage allowance is: One hold luggage of 20 kilo per person and one hand luggage (kindly see airlines website for hand luggage acceptable dimensions). Any sports equipment and/or extra baggage are to be purchased directly from the airline’s website.
    
7. All other costs including airline transfers, travel insurance, personal expenditure and other incidental expenses are not part of the prize.
    
8. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they have a valid passport and obtain any necessary visas and vaccinations for their trip. (https://www.visitmalta.com/en/covid-19/)
    
9. All elements of the prize are subject to availability and are non-transferable. There are no cash alternatives. Winner must be one of the person/s travelling.
    
10. Once flight arrangements are booked, you will be sent details of the booking. It will not be possible thereafter to amend any dates or details.
     
11. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter and accordingly the promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attached to the promoter as a result thereof.
     
12. Visit Malta reserves the right to withdraw any prize should it later be found out the terms and conditions were not adhered to. Airline T&C’s also applicable
     
13. Visit Malta accept no responsibility if flights are cancelled or changed after the booking is made due to reasons beyond its control. Winners are always advised to check online the timings of the departure and arrivals of the flights they will be travelling on.
