C.M.O. Says Latest Figures Not A Clear Indication Current Restrictions Are Working

The Chief Medical Officer says the recent dip in Covid-19 figures can't be regarded as a trend just yet. Last night, 720 new cases were confirmed with 5 additional deaths.

The national incidence rate has fallen slightly from yesterday to 307.

However, Dr Tony Holohan says the country hasn't yet turned a corner in suppressing the spread of the disease:
