Covid Cases Continue To Climb Again Here

Ireland has the fourth highest incidence rate of Covid-19 in the EU - with only Cyprus, Portugal and Spain faring worse.

The Republic's 14-day rate is 121 per 100,000 people, with 534 new cases confirmed yesterday.
627 new cases were reported in the North yesterday - the highest since late January.The rate of Covid-19 in the Buncrana local electoral area in Donegal is over seven times the national average. Its 14-day incidence rate was 881 per 100,000 people on Monday - the highest in the country.
Dungarvan in Waterford was the next highest, at 771. Carndonagh, also in Donegal, is the third worst, at 625
