Deadlock Remains On Brexit Deal As Freight Traffic On The Irish Sea Increase

Brexit trade talks must end, deal or no deal, by Sunday.

That's what Ursula von der Leyen and Boris Johnson agreed after a three-hour meeting in Brussels last night.
The Commission President says she and the British Prime Minister had a "lively and interesting" meeting -- but their positions "remain far apart".
Number 10 Downing Street says it was "frank discussion".
Meanwhile Freight traffic has surged to an unprecedented level on the Irish Sea as Irish importers stock up ahead of the Brexit transition.
Stena Line says the volume it carried last week was up nearly a fifth on the same week last year.
The weeks up to Christmas are already the busiest of the year for the ferry company -- but it's set new records every week since mid-November.
