Government To Receive Report On How Vaccines Should Be Rolled Out

The government is due to receive a taskforce report today on how Covid-19 vaccines will be rolled out in Ireland once they're approved.

The cabinet's already decided nursing home residents, frontline healthcare workers and over 70s will be first in line.
European regulators are due to decide whether to approve the Pfizer jab by December 29th.

Health officials say the Covid-19 situation is stable - but that current numbers are as low as they're going to get for the foreseeable future.

A further 15 deaths were reported last night, along with 310 new cases, while the 14 day incidence rate is now 79 per 100 thousand.
