Ireland's Foreign Travel Restrictions Damaging Economy According To I.A.T.A.

The International Air Transport Association is expected to tell an Oireachtas committee today that Quarantine measures will cause serious damage to the economy if they're not lifted as soon as possible.

Chief executive Willie Walsh will say Ireland's at risk of falling behind other economies because it has 'some of the strictest Covid measures in Europe'.
Yesterday Aer Lingus announced the permanent closure of its cabin crew base at Shannon Airport.
Evan Cullen, the president of the Irish Airline Pilots Association, is warning there will be more closures.
