Manchester City have won their appeal against a two-season ban from the Champion's League and will be allowed to play in next season’s Champion's League.
The club was found guilty of “serious breaches” of Financial Fair Play earlier this year and were given two season ban by UEFA and given a €30 million fine.
However today the Court of Arbitration for Sport has ruled that City did not disguise equity funding from their Abu Dhabi owners as sponsorship contributions, but did fail to cooperate with the UEFA authorities. The ban has been lifted, while the club’s fine has been reduced to €10 million.
