Nightclubs Re-Open While Pubs Have Longer Opening Hours From Today

Late night entertainment returns today, with venues allowed operate at full capacity when they reopen tonight.

Nightclubs are back and pubs and restaurants no longer have to close at half 11. The new government guidelines also allow up to 1,500 people stand at indoor gigs and people can get a drink at the bar while staying 2 metres apart.

Sports stadiums will be able to have a 100 per cent attendance from today.
It means there'll be big crowds at two FAI Cup semi-finals this evening, and at club GAA games this weekend.

Weddings can go ahead at full capacity today, for the first time since March 2020.
They were restricted to 100 people recently - while all other religious services can also have a 100 per cent attendance from today.
