A 42 acre site in North Dublin is to be rezoned, which could pave the way for 2,200 new homes to be built in the area.
Councillors voted overwhelming in favour of rezoning the site in Finglas, despite locals' concerns the infrastructure couldn't cope with an influx of people. 17 councillors voted against the motion.
