Protests Expected As French President Makes State Visit To Ireland

Rolling road closures will be in place across Dublin today for the State visit of the President of France to Ireland.

 

Emmanuel Macron will meet with President Michael D Higgins at Aras an Uachtarain before attending a lunch with the Taoiseach at government buildings.
He'll later meet students at Trinity College, and visit TU Dublin before travelling back to France.
Gardai will have a policing plan in operation throughout the day, amid reports of planned protests.
