Some Easing Of Outdoor Activity Restrictions Take Effect Today

Outdoor attractions including zoos, petting farms and heritage sites are open to the public from today.

The maximum attendance allowed at funerals has increased to 25, while outdoor sports like tennis and golf courses can also reopen.
Outdoor dining and beer gardens could be allowed open from June under the government's plans to ease restrictions.

Meanwhile the Housing Minister says some protection from eviction for tenants has been extended until July.
The Government ban on evictions has been lifted, but  housing charities have raised fears homelessness will rise as a result.

However, Minister Darragh O'Brien says there are still measures in place to protect tenants who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic
