Today will be the final full day of the current heatwave with temperatures set to reach close to 30 degrees again.
A status yellow high temperature alert is in place for Wicklow and rest of the country, which will run until tomorrow morning. Thunderstorms could affect areas in the South Midlands and the West today
but conditions over the weekend are still expected to be good.
