Temperatures Remain Low With Further Snow Showers Expected

Road users in Eastern Counties are being urged to slow down and keep their distance.

Temperatures dipped to minus 5 degrees in places overnight leaving icy conditions on many roads, with further snow showers expected today.
A status yellow snow-ice warning is in place for Louth, Westmeath, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan until 6pm this evening.

Met Eireann says substantial snowfall is expected across the country tomorrow.
