The Irish Road Haulage Association, is set to raise its concerns at a meeting with the minister for transport today.
It says UK lorries are at work at ports in Drogheda and Dublin, and Gardaí and the Road Safety Authority are "doing nothing" about it.
The association's president Eugene Drennan says Irish-owned firms are losing business as a result.
