Vaccine Rollout Gains Momentum

Over 3.6 million Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in Ireland.

The HSE says over 2.3 million people have received one dose, and 1.3 million are fully vaccinated.
GPs have administered nearly 1.5 million shots, and 39 vaccination centres are also in place.
The number of Covid patients in hospital has decreased by 65 per cent in the past month.
It dropped to 39 yesterday, compared to 110 on May 22nd.
The current number is the lowest in nearly 10 months, while only 13 Covid patients are in intensive care.
