Consultation Period Extended On Masterplan for Glendalough And Wicklow Mountains National Park

Members of the public are being asked to give their input on a Masterplan for Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains National Park.

The project has been commissioned by Fáilte Ireland and will aim to improve the visitor experience in the county, with a particular focus on walking and cycling.

Research has shown the area faces a number of challenges including congestion at key sites, concerns over security, and a lack of suitable car parking and visitor services.

The public consultation process runs until the 26th of March, with a series of Zoom virtual drop-in sessions with the consultant team and online surveys through Wicklow.ie.
