Sallyanne Clarke is a shop-keeper’s daughter. Her experience behind the counter and dealing with the public has definitely stood to her in running L'Ecrivain for over 30 years. The famed restaurant, which has held a Michelin star since 2003, will be closing in December with a new challenge waiting in Temple Bar. “We are walking away with our heads held high, we’re not closing the book, we’re just going on to a new chapter.”
