Delta Airlines launches new flight from Dublin to Detroit

On Travel Talk this morning we are chatting to Kelly Wolgamott, the Vice President of Pure Michigan.  The introduction of a direct Delta Airlines flight from Dublin to Detroit, commencing in May 2025, marks a significant milestone for both Michigan and the tourism sector. This new route enhances connectivity between Ireland and Michigan, facilitating easier travel for both business and leisure purposes. With over one million people of Irish descent residing in Michigan, the direct link is expected to strengthen cultural and familial ties, fostering increased tourism and economic exchange between the two regions. ​
